Ramsau am Dachstein – the cradle of the via ferrata
Overhanging rocks, impressive steep walls, breathtaking views over the Enns valley. All of this is offered by the via ferrata area No. 1 in Austria on the Dachstein. 20 beautiful via ferratas are located on the southern side of the highest mountain in Styria.
Anna, Johann, Irg are the three best-known via ferratas in the Schladming-Dachstein holiday region and are certainly among the most demanding via ferrata in terms of climbing length and difficulty (D / E). No less attractive, but shorter, and of medium difficulty (C / D), the via ferrata Hias, Rosina and Siega invite you to an airy climbing experience at the Silberkar gorge. Kali, Kala, Kalo and Heidi, who have a low level of difficulty (A, B, C), are the right entry for the newcomer to the via ferrata.
As a starting point for all via ferratas, our apartments in Montanara in Ramsau am Dachstein are an ideal base.
I am happy to be available to our guests as a mountain guide or to help plan tours.
