Powder time
Freeriding on the most beautiful routes away from groomed slopes. On the left and right, fresh powder snow is dusting up, blue sky and the feeling of unlimited freedom under the skis spreads all over the body. The attraction and the challenge of being on the road in natural terrain makes freeriding a special experience in the mountains.
Freeriding on the Dachstein means steep gullies and couloirs, descents of up to 1600 meters, a good dose of adrenaline and a big grin on your face. Edelgrieß, Schwadering, Gruberscharte are the most famous freeride runs in Ramsau am Dachstein, and can be booked daily with a mountain guide in Montanara.
On the other hand, there is an ideal freeride area for beginners in the Schladming-Dachstein ski region. Especially in adverse weather conditions, you can enjoy deep snow skiing to the fullest on the Planai, Hochwurzen or Hauser Kaibling.
