The Guttenberghaus lies at an altitude of 2146 meters in the middle of the Dachstein Mountains, and offers a perfect practice area for future mountaineers who like to move on the rock. A well-equipped sports climbing garden, via ferrata and short practice tours are located right next to the hut. This offer is suitable for children, adults and families.
Course content:
- Walking properly in the pathless terrain
- Basic climbing technique
- Rope technology and safety technology as well as associated theoretical inputs
- Toprope and lead training
- Via ferrata technology
- Simple stand systems
- Rope team process and stand organization
- Performing a simple multi-pitch tour with rope team coaching
- Correct equipment
- Tour planning (weather, topo read correctly, orientation)
- Alpine knowledge and assessment of terrain and conditions
Basic information:
- Day 1: Meeting point at 9.00 a.m. at Guttenberghaus
- Day 1 to 3: Training and leadership according to the course content
- Day 3: end around 4 p.m.
